David is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He grew up in the famous Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, under Dr. D. James Kennedy. He did his undergraduate work in Music (Vocal Performance) at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where he also studied theology under Dutch theologian Dr. Henry Krabbendam.
After college, David returned home to South Florida and began working as a worship leader and youth director. He began his seminary studies at Knox Theological Seminary in Fort Lauderdale. Sensing a ministry call to the Midwest, David moved to northwest Illinois for a Youth and Music position, which opened up a door to receive his first pastoral calling at age 28. Since entering pastoral ministry in 2013, David has pastored a church in Illinois and two in Wisconsin. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
David is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. He enjoys traveling, reading and watching his beloved Miami Dolphins and Heat. David is married to his wife Susan and they have two small children, Aria and John.
